BiographyMy journey to good health began after I encountered symptoms of an autoimmune disease. I worried about the ability of my body to fight off bacterial infections and seasonal viruses. Having a large family to care for, I wanted to be strong and healthy enough to properly care for them. Naturopathy is all about building health from the inside out. In my situation, western medicine could only offer drugs to help deal with the symptoms as they appeared. Naturopathy offered me what western medicine could not, an opportunity to rebuild my immune system. This was an aha! moment in my life. I began to study about naturopathy and put its principles into practice. Once I began to repair my body on a foundational level through periodic fasting, aromatherapy, allergy elimination, and nutritional supplements, I began to reap rewards. My seasonal allergies were eliminated and my energy level was much higher. However, my gut was still a mess. Through my research I learned about BioSET®. After I began the BioSET® protocol, I completely regained my energy and focus, and I experienced good digestion for the first time in over 10 years. That was when I knew I would not be using traditional methods to deal with subsequent occurrences of ill health. I have had no recurrences for over 6 years!! I earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Health and a Doctor of Naturopathy at Clayton College of Natural Health. Since then, I have concentrated my studies on nutrition. In 2005, I became a certified BioSET® practitioner. In 2006, I received my Advanced BioSET® Certification. I continue to attend Advanced BioSET® seminars on a yearly basis along with consulting with other BioSET® practitioners on a regular basis to discuss topics relevant to our practices. In September 2008, I was accepted into a year-long internship with Dr. Ellen Cutler, founder of BioSET®. I had the incredible experience studying under her and learning from her personally. I completed this internship in September of 2009 and am now the exclusive instructor for all BioSET® Basic and Intermediate Seminars. I am privileged to be a part of this most fascinating community of Practitioners / Pioneers in the Bioenergetic field and I look forward with great expectations to the future growth of BioSET® and energetic medicine. |
